Caren Schwartz founded Time & Cents Consultants, LLC , a Southport Connecticut firm, to help professionals select, install and get the most out of their software. Her philosophy is that companies can save time and money when they can better manage their time and money.

Time & Cents works with a diverse range of industries including financial institutions, law firms, accounting and other consulting firms.  Ms. Schwartz is a Certified Professional Advisor for QuickBooks® and a Certified Consultant for Timeslips® by Sage, Peachtree® by Sage and Amicus Attorney®, as well as a Certified Independent Consultant for Time Matters®, Billing Matters™ and Billing Matters Plus.

Prior to establishing the company, Ms. Schwartz spent over 14 years as an executive with IBM, accountable for marketing support, quality development and training, and multi-million dollar revenue planning.  She received her MBA from Cornell University and her Bachelor’s from Colby College.  She is active in community affairs, including Builders Beyond Borders and the Fairfield Ludlowe High School PTA. She also serves on the boards of Congregation B’nai Israel, the Entrepreneurial Woman’s Network and the Ahlbin Centers for Rehabilitation Medicine.

Time & Cents Consulting, LLC helped to set up our firm with QuickBooks and Timeslips software at the startup of our law firm. Because of their work, we were able to focus on our business with minimal follow-up after we were up and running. When we had problems or questions, they were fast to respond and we were completely satisfied with their work and their continuing work including software upgrades.
